The Ants And The Grasshopper

 

In the mid of autumn, an ant colony was collecting food for winter. A grasshopper was seeing the ants take the food for the winter. The grasshopper made fun of the ants, it said “how dumb are to collect food for the winter “. The ants stayed quite while they were taking the food to their ant hill for the winter. They had nuts like acorn.

As the day passed the temperature dropped to 5 degrees. The grasshopper was shivering in the cold and hungry as the ants stayed in their ant hole.

The grasshopper asked, “can come in your ant hole”. “No” said the ants “why” asked the grasshopper. The ants said, “you made fun of us while we were taking food and nuts to are ant hole and making fun of food which is god”. “Sorry” said the grasshopper “I will not do it again”. “Give me a last chance I will not do it again”. The ants did not allow the grasshopper to stay in their ant hole.

While the leaving from there, an ant shouted, “do not go please wait I will ask the queen ant to make rest here for the night, I will convince the queen please don ‘t leave”. The grasshopper waited as the ant said so. The ant asked its queen “can the grasshopper stay here for the night?”  The queen said “ fine let him stay but there is a catch, he should not make fun of food and us”. The ant told the grasshopper the catch, “I will promise that I will not do it again”.

The grasshopper lived there forever.
